Active Ingredients g/L

A Premium, soluble liquid calcium

Nutrient (w/v): Calcium 60 g/L : Potassium 15 g/L : Magnesium 2.5 g/L : Sulfur 2.5 g/L : Iron 1.9 g/L : Manganese 0.19 g/L : Boron 0.12 g/L : Fulvic Acid 0.4%

Macro Prima HorticultureTM is an alkaline liquid soluble calcium source that is suitable for use across a broad range of horticultural crops and methods of application. Macro Prima Horticulture is suited to acidic and alkaline/sodic soils. Acidic soils can be particularly low in available calcium while alkaline soils can be high in other cations (ie. Sodium, Magnesium, Potassium) which can interfere with calcium uptake by plants. Macro Prima Horticulture has been enhanced to not only provide a higher level of product performance but to also improve its handling and ease of use. Macro Prima Horticulture has been further refined to be a less viscous product that now includes essential trace elements, electrolytes and fulvic acid. Importantly Macro Prima Horticulture has been specifically formulated for use in all horticultural situations and can be easily applied through boom spray equipment, drippers and sprinklers. Foliar applications can be used to supply highly available calcium to the plant to be a function of improved plant health. Calcium is a vital macro nutrient for plant growth and improves plant and production quality. Soil applied applications provide the additional benefit of improving soil health as a powerful soil conditioning agent. By managing pH, salinity effect and toxicities within the root zone a favorable environment can be engineered around the growing seedling to maximise plant growth and establishment. For best results a comprehensive soil assessment is recommended prior to use to determine optimal application method and rates.

KEY BENEFITS

Macro Prima Horticulture improves plant health, growth and structure due to:

  • Supply of plant available calcium in a stable alkaline solution
  • Increase water penetration on hard, sodic clay soils
  • Improving cell structure, function and strength (root growth points)
  • Improving fruit quality and storage
  • Building more resilient plants with greater root mass earlier
  • Regulating and managing pH changes in furrow
  • Displacing or sequestering sodium, aluminium and chloride from the root zone

COMPATIBILITY

Macro Prima Horticulture is compatible with a wide range of agricultural herbicides, pesticides and fertilisers. It can also be utilised as a tank mix partner with UAN. Do not mix with nutritional product containing sulfate or phosphate. Check the Compatibility Guide as a reference. Always do a small jar test before preparing a full tank mix.
